These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Bast Tarot ("the App", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Entertainment Only

Bast Tarot is provided solely for entertainment and self-reflection purposes. Card meanings, spread interpretations, and AI-generated readings are not predictions of the future and are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. The App does not provide — and must never be relied on for — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. If you are facing a serious situation, please consult a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

The App creates an anonymous account automatically so core features work without signing in. You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to keep your readings, credits, and progress across devices. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account.

4. Credits & AI Readings

AI readings consume credits. Credits can be earned (e.g., welcome bonus, rewarded ads), included with subscriptions, or purchased as one-time packs.
Credits have no monetary value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are lost if your account is deleted.
AI readings are generated by an artificial-intelligence model. They may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected, and are offered as reflective prompts only.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

Premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly, or annual) unlock premium spreads, lessons, included credits, and an ad-free experience.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings — not inside the App.
Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on where you downloaded the App. Prices may vary by region and may change with notice through the store.
Refunds are handled according to the refund policies of the store where you made the purchase (Google Play or Apple App Store).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to disrupt its services, reverse-engineer it, use it for unlawful purposes, abuse free-credit mechanisms, or resell any part of its content or services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including the original cat card artwork, card meanings, lessons, design, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading or interpretation will meet your expectations. Your use of the App and any decisions you make remain entirely your own responsibility.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including decisions made based on readings or interpretations.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
